These Caribu Kersey Wool Hoods are a luxurious 425gsm - they can not be beaten for their warmth & durability in the cooler months.

Our Caribu Horse Hoods are constructed from a quality genuine 80% Kersey Wool blend, you will be hard pushed to find a warmer, more versatile stable hood.

Wool is a natural fiber and has fantastic insulation and breathability properties. Featuring enclosed ears, a poll strap*, anti rub lining and fabric reinforcing behind the buckles. Our wool horse hoods also also include binding along the mane line for added strength.

Don't like Enclosed Ears? With this design the ears are attached & bound in such a way that if you prefer to use the hood permanently without ears - they can be cut off down low and the ear hole will still remain bound and prevent fraying.
