Royal Canin Veterinary Early Renal is a complete and balanced dry diet specifically formulated for adult cats to support kidney function at the first signs of decline. Early detection and nutritional intervention are key to managing renal health, and this specialised formula is designed to reduce the workload on the kidneys while providing all the essential nutrients for daily vitality. By addressing renal needs in the early stages, this diet helps to maintain your cat's quality of life and long-term wellbeing.

This recipe features a moderate phosphorus level to help support kidney function, along with a synergistic antioxidant complex to help neutralise free radicals. To support cats as they show early signs of ageing, the formula is enriched with New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel, glucosamine, and chondroitin to maintain joint health and mobility. The inclusion of Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) and prebiotics further supports digestive health and reduces inflammation. Additionally, this diet is formulated with the S/O Index to create a urinary environment unfavourable to the development of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.

Features and benefits:
  • Early renal support: Formulated with a moderate phosphorus level and essential fatty acids to support kidney health during the early stages of renal insufficiency.
  • Ageing support: Contains a specific blend of nutrients, including New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel and antioxidants, to support cats showing early signs of ageing.
  • Joint health: Enriched with glucosamine and chondroitin to help maintain healthy cartilage and support joint mobility.
  • S/O Index: Developed to help promote a healthy urinary environment by reducing the risk of crystal and stone formation.
